Learning a language is something we all do as children, as we begin learning our mother tongue and adapting our minds into the process of word structure and memory. Our brains are wired in such a way as to take the language based information and process it in an efficient manner.

As a child it was the natural progression of the need to understand what those “giants” were saying that created the desire to learn. As an infant it is the distinction of individual words that reinforces the language learning ability. Anyone who has listened or is learning a foreign language understands it is not until the spaces between words are identified can we truly learn the language. As we all speak a fluid stream of words with little indication of the breaks between the words as such.

Learning a new language comes more natural for some, as some of us have the ability to process the understanding of the words, the breaks and the structure like an abstract puzzle. It is this brain processing that helps us develop linguistically and enhance our “language brain”.

With Subliminal messages, the “language brain” can be better switched on like that of those select few who learn languages with ease. A professionally produced subliminal language album does NOT teach you the language rather it wires your brain so you can take in language based information like a genius.

The Subliminal language learning album will do a number of things:

  • Promote Self Confidence clearly seeing yourself as someone who can and will learn the chosen new language you wish to learn.
  • Support with the Process and understanding of language based information effectively.
  • Boost your ability to read your new language.
  • Improve and allow the natural skills deep with in you to flourish and let you speak your chosen language fluently.

What a subliminal message language learning album does not do is make you learn the language; this part is still up to you.

So we have a treasure chest of valuable learnings when it comes to how to accomplish that new language.

Subliminal Language Learning is one way to get your brain rewired into learning a new language.

POCKET BOOK LEARN A new language for rapid results

Along with a dedicated subliminal program to get your mind into a state of language learning

As someone who has been given the chance to learn a new language whilst living in a country that is non English speaking. “My recommendation is to take a small pocket note pad and write out 5-10 new words a day and learn it like a parrot. Learn these words well and try using them in every day speaking or writing. Keep reviewing this list daily as the list grows and grows and before long you will be fluent in no time.”

Typically there are the offical language schools offered by local communities which provide a language class free of charge to help support with the community better fitting in to the social environment.

The internet is also a valuable tool in providing courses online and can support with finding language courses in a group at a similar level to you.

NEW RESEARCH

For us adult learners, new research may support in the learning process and help us master foreign tongues. From the University of Haifa in Israel, scientists studied how language learners comprehended foreign words spoken in an authentic accent versus the comprehension of those spoken in the learners’ native accent. The study found that you get a lot less information from the people who actually know how to pronounce stuff. ¡Qué rico! So if you want to pick up a new language and understand the lingo you must change your thinking and take a new tack.

The Tips from the research are as follows:

Don’t go Native

Start by listening to speakers who have your own linguistic background. That way the words are different—but not too different. Your brain will process the familiar sounds more easily, letting you focus.

Don’t stress out

When you start working on the accent, don’t worry too much in the beginning about rolling that rrrrrrr or nailing the pronunciation of Eyjafjallajökull. If you’re older than a teenager, your ear can’t pick up all the subtleties anyway.

Take it Slow

After you feel comfortable with the gringo accent and can hear the difference between pronunciations, start incorporating the correct sounds. Then panic about the weird alphabet and all the vocabulary. Bonne chance!

Better to sound funny than to be dumb

Many people often like to stay in their comfort zone, when it comes to speaking a new language. Maybe we somehow fear of being laughed at, with our funny accent. But if you really try hard, only fools will not appreciate the extra effort and will often return the favor and assist you however they can. Keep in mind that those laughing at you probably speak one language less than you, and are therefore, well… dumber…

Go deeper, learn the culture that comes with the language

Words and expressions often relate to local realities, habits and cultures. If you try to link words with they mean “in real life”, you’ll not only be able to remember them more easily, you’ll be able to use them in and out of their context, and even better, you’ll better be able to figure out those other words you don’t understand, around the words that you do. All languages are open windows onto vast chunks of culture and they are amazing opportunities to learn new ways of life, and new ideas.

Don’t go native, but watch and listen!

Start watching television shows or movies in the language you want to learn, with subtitles. That way you’ll gradually tune your ears to how natives speak in ordinary situations. Eventually you’ll begin to recognize sentence patterns and individual words.

DECONSTRUCTING LANGUAGES

Another totally fascinating learning language blog is that of TIM FERRIS.

This is a Fascinating look at the deconstruction of languages in a few hours.

“Before you invest (or waste) hundreds and thousands of hours on a language, you should deconstruct it. During my thesis research at Princeton, which focused on neuroscience and unorthodox acquisition of Japanese by native English speakers, as well as when redesigning curricula for Berlitz, this neglected deconstruction step surfaced as one of the distinguishing habits of the fastest language learners…”

Six Lines of Gold

Here are a few questions that Tim applies from the outset. The simple versions come afterwards:

1. Are there new grammatical structures that will postpone fluency? (look at SOV vs. SVO
subject-verb-object, as well as noun cases)

2. Are there new sounds that will double or quadruple time to fluency? (especially vowels)

3. How similar is it to languages I already understand? What will help and what will interfere? (Will acquisition erase a previous language? Can I borrow structures without fatal interference like Portuguese after Spanish?)

4. All of which answer: How difficult will it be, and how long would it take to become functionally fluent?

It doesn’t take much to answer these questions. All you need are a few sentences translated from English into your target language.

Some of my favorites, with reasons, are below:

The apple is red.
It is John’s apple.
I give John the apple.
We give him the apple.
He gives it to John.
She gives it to him.

These six sentences alone expose much of the language, and quite a few potential deal killers.
